In this video, I interviewed Craig Johnson, author and creator of the Longmire series, from which the Netflix series was born. We talked about the Longmire books, the show and his life on a Wyoming ranch.

I know that the series has embellished and changed events and the series added characters and I want to thank Craig for being open to those changes to his stories. They enriched the lives of the actors in ways you can obviously see in the screen. Much respect for your talents and friendliness in telling your stories about writing from Wyoming. I’m new to Longmire because it’s on Netflix. I can’t imagine how I missed it earlier. So you are adding new fans through the series being rerun. And I’m starting to read your books. I hope to make it to Longmire Days next year. It will be great to see you in person!

Here’s hoping a Longmire movie is coming. I’ve grown attached to these actors in ways I could never imagine. And I keep watching the series over and over. It’s like they are my neighbors or family. Can’t wait for a new season or movie to continue their lives.
