Shame. Sounds like a fun premise for a 40k story. We never see the Dark Eldar and Craftworld Eldar fight or wage war on each other like the Dark elves and High Elves do

Reminds me of an excerpt where an entire raid party of drukhari with all kinds of drukhari units from the basic kabalites to pain engines and haemonculi where stopped and killed BY ONE SPACE MARINE (and before you ask yes its an ultramarine) DRIVING A LAND SPEEDER, AN INQUISITOR AND A DOG all on their own stopped A GOD DAMN dark eldar invasion IDK but I bet this was written by goto

About the problem you mention the Eldar has now in the lore.
Maybe they should start to show us what happens a little bit more in the "dark side" of the galaxy. I imagine a lot of worlds falling to Chaos and many Imperial systems completely on their own.
Wouldn't be fun that, as a result of the psychic awakening and the "lack of Imperium" in that sideof the galaxy, the Eldar start REALLY hunting down and detroying big Chaos forces there? Like, if Chaos is the main narrative antagonist of the Imperium, Eldar could became the main antagonist of Chaos in that half of the galaxy.
