Those who are developing Deep Fake likely utilize how people can spot glitches and subsequently benefit by encouraging people to discuss this with eachother. They can then iron out inconsistencies.
Deep Fake may even be advanced AI programs learning how to mimic people.

These aren't deepfake, it is face masking filters. Same tech that is used in Snapchat.

An actual deep fake uses completely computer generated imagery and doesn't blur or 'unmask' at any point.
