Weird how this review only had one or two negatives yet still received an 8.0, while game spots review of "Destiny" had tons of negatives yet still somehow received

I've said this once and I'll say it again guys. If you've been on the internet long enough, you should know by now that you can never trust numbered review scores. What you should focus on is whether the reviewer says if it's an excellent, good, average, or bad game. This is why I watch classic game room reviews because they don't use a number scoring system. These scoring systems that IGN, Gamespot, etc uses just don't make sense. If you liked the demo, that should be more than enough indication if you should buy the full game or not

I love how the more child friendly games like Smash Bros are played more by adults while more mature rated games like Call of Duty are played mostly by teens and little kids. Funny how stuff like that happens. I know I'll be stealing my Boyfriend's 2ds to play this as often as I can. :)

This review was kinda bad. They gave one negative, and gave the game a 8. If they actually played it and got used to it, it wouldn't have been a issue. At least find a better complaint.

I have to say I was extremely hesitant, though excited, when I first heard they were releasing this game on the 3DS. But now that I've had it for a while, I absolutely love it. My biggest concern was with the controls, but I find them just as comfortable and intuitive as using a GameCube controller. Speaking of which, once I get the Wii U Version of the game, it's nice to know I can continue using the controls I've grown accustomed to on the 3DS version.

You gave ONE negative and the game got and 8. What is that bull shit? I wouldn't care if you gave the game an 8 and had some proper evidence, but you only gave one criticism. That should give the game a 9/9.5 if not a 10. Real nice review gamespot.

Has anyone ever though about how some characters are downgraded/upgraded to be able to make SSB equalized? For example, Samus in the real Nintendo univers could probably obliterate half of these characters with plasma beams and phazon beams. On the other hand, they had to beef up the character, Villager, who barely even fights in his/her own universe. I find it pretty cool they equalize everyone, but it's pretty comical watching a Yoshi beat the crap out of a Ganondorf like no tomorrow.

Does Gamespot have a unwritten law that restricts their reviewers from a giving a game anything higher than an 8?

I'm glad they didn't mention or base the review on who wasn't in the roster and who is in. If a freaking fanboy from YouTube comments and Miiverse users reviewed this, it would have gotten a 2 because "MewTwo and Ridley aren't in." And a 1 because "Duck Hunt and Wii Fit Trainer."

I just want to point out that the music mixing in this review is pretty bad, especially when I can clearly hear two music tracks playing over each other. Plus, I can't wait for this game and the Wii U version.

Based on the demo-it's really fun. You get used to the control scheme after a play session or two. The graphics look pretty good for a 3ds game, especially on smaller levels where you are closer to the characters. It controls tightly. The one for Wii U will be a better overall presentation thanks to HD graphics and a bigger screen, but you couldn't keep me from buying this version on release date.
