This was the most educational and most scam school lesson ever, I have been questioning this exact topic for a while and I look forward for this content in the future. Thank you for widening my view into this subject I will definitely try to make this into my own bit and make it my own.

Wow Brian. That's fabulous creative advice. No matter what your thing... magic.... painting... music, I think your advice could work for any artistic outlet. By examining what you hate, your critical mind creates ways to make it better. That's genius man!

I can get behind that answer, that's much better than "be the change you want to see in the world", when you say it the way you did it feels like a fog just lifted or something. I'm going to start doing that from now in in my daily life, thanks, Brian. :D

Holy shit Brian, that last section was so immensely important. And not even in a specific magic way, but for life. I've always found bad examples to be much better guides than good ones, and you put it in a way that I'll keep with me. Thanks, man.

Thank you. I think these words resonate so much because of the obvious fun you have doing your own unique thing. Thank you for being such a wonderful example of how to be different and happy with that taking that risk.

Right on! I think it was Chesterson that said something to the effect of 'perishing for want of wonder, not want of wonders.'
The positing of the impossibility which is then revealed will always be more profound and engaging than the statement of fact demonstrated to be factual.

This is such a great advice not only for magic but for all sorts of things in live.

What a great answer, you really changed my outlook on performing not only magic but just in general. Thank you!

Nate Staniforth is doing such a great job on magic. He does something I really dont see all the time. He puts silence in his act. He is one of my favourite performers. Up there with David Blaine, David Berglas, Asi Wind, DanniDa Ortiz.

Damn. Came for magic advice, stayed for that last tip. I could name a ton of crafts I can make better by finding what I don't like.

I'd like to say that I've been following the Channel for a long time now. And I Just love this new format videos! It's so passionate and so diferente from most magic channels out there.

Personally, I'm quite fond of the simple finger snap. The sound provides a sharp transition from the trick to the reveal. The way I do it, I leave my index finger extended while snapping so I can point at the deck (or whatever, usually a deck with me) with it to direct all of the attention the snap claimed at the deck.

I still remember Nate performing here in Sydney as part of Band of Magicians.

Brian you've never sounded more intelligent than in this video. Theory is a much needed topic on youtube, so talking about that is really nice. Keep em coming.

I've heard Penn say do what you hate to make it something better and something you like which makes that unique only to you now he only said that he did what he hated and made it something he liked and became amazing at but I think it gives it his own style when performing magic and it can change how you see it
