I received my Hohem last week and what a great Mic it is. I also ordered Hollyland Lark M2 and have the DJI Mic 2. Last night I ran a test of all mics. And surprisingly in my 1st test with Samsung S23 Ultra, Lark 2 came on top, Hohem wasn't far enough and came at 2 and DJI Mic 2 (Using Bluetooth) came 3. I will run the same test today with DJI Action 4 as I have heard DJI Mic 2 with Bluetooth gives amazing results even though it used via Bluetooth. But overall I agree with you, Hohem is a quality product at this price point. A Tip! I also used it in my Microsoft Teams calls and received praise for the sound quality.

At 5:56 the receiver is plugged into the camera but what is the usb cable for, the one being plugged into the receiver ?

Hello, I ride on mtb with my son. Usually I have the cam on my helmet an I am looking somenting to record my son voice while riding. Can I have connected both mics together for him and me? What is the range of the connection? And what do you think of these mic in comparison with dji 2? Thank you very much if you answer me. It would be very very helpful and could help me save som money, becouse mtb sport is not cheap😅

I’m waiting for DJI to allow both mics on the Action 4 to be used through Bluetooth. As of now the only Pocket 3 allows both mics to be used through Bluetooth. I want to motovlog with my girlfriend using both mics without using the receiver. The way around it is to use the integrated storage on the mic and add the audio in post which I’m trying to avoid.

May I ask you what is your experience with Hohem and action sports? I ride with my son and somenthimes I wish I can record his voice during the ride. Could be both ports connected at once? Lets say I record both me and my son in the same time.

I allready have the Røde Wireless go II so i only need the camera since the goPro 8 who i have, it is not possible to get battery for it anymore it is outsold everywhere who i think is very bad. So i was thinking on the DJI camera now instead.

Dji for sure is ahead. If gopro doesnt release something that depecates the mediamod this year they will be even further behind upcoming dji action 5 which probably will demolish gopro 12 by supporting 2 dji mics via bt and probably similar low light capability as pocket 3. Dji will have a hard time balancing sales between action 5 and pocket 4 since i presume they will compete even more than 2023 lineup but its just speculation at this point.

I'm in two minds wether to go for the DJI Mic 2 set up or those Hohem . I don't do any vlogging just personal holiday stuff, so the Hohem are probably the best bet for me. But i don't really want to plug a receiver into my camera, I'd rather just Bluetooth them. I have the Action 4 and thought you couldn't set up two mics via Bluetooth. But was told yesterday in my local DJI store that the software has been updated to accommodate two. Is this correct.( My Action 4 hasn't arrived yet, so haven't been able to test it).

I wonder if the Hohem would work well on a motorcycle? I was thinking to mount it somehow behind me, where it would not be directly hit by the wind. Main point would be to capture the exhaust and some of the surrounding audio. The DJI mic prices are very steep. Haven't even got the camera yet, but the DJI is my top choice. I borrowed a friends Insta360 X2. While very novel, I think I prefer just one wide angle view and overall better image quality.

There are enough working bluetooth microphones which can connect without any problem wireless to the ace pro. So your explanation is not clear to me. Next the ace pro is the better camera overall as seen in many youtube videos
