My man, you nailed this video!! great job. the first knot you made with braid is a uni knot as everyone knows, but it is worth mentioning.

13:00 This is the key to float fishing for coho right here folks, a balanced float at the right depth. You need to have your bait slightly ABOVE the fish. The bright fish will rise to bite, your float will plunge, you'll get a good hook set. Also, you won't snag up on the bottom. Excellent video for the newbs and something for the beaks to learn from.

Super, killer, waazoo explanation. The best video I've seen on this subject. I also like the fact there was not a bunch of silliness to distract in the making of this video. Perfectly done. Thanks

So, guys...I do not think this could have been presented any better, at all. As far as the clarity, demonstrating; actually, every bit of it was absolutely excellent. The camera close ups, the pace of Kevin's descriptions, were perfect. Thank you very much. I want to try my hand at fall chinook on the banks of the Umpqua in southern Oregon. I know you guys love what you do, and I want to thank you for making such great videos! Really really great stuff here.

Love the new Intro! Every video just keeps getting better, is there a certain time of the year you guys like to start using bobber and eggs? Or is it more of a conditions thing? Just cured my first batch of salmon eggs last week, super excited to use them! was able to do that with one your guys videos to!

We were in to the 'hos last weekend on a north fork of an Oregon coastal river. Could only seem to pull natives in though. Still, we had a ton of fun that day! Beat a lot of brush and tromped a lot of mud. Came home tired, soaked to the bone and muddy all over. It just doesn't get much better..

Coho fishing this season has been horrendous around the puget sound areas and local streams this season. I've only had 1 that I kept that weighed in at the 6lb range.. most caught have been small 2-4lbers.. I've let go the year-lings I've been lucky to land. Most every one I've talked to around the areas I fish, have shared the same experiences this season. And by the looks of the wdfw escapement reports, and the emergency rule update a couple weeks ago about 1 coho daily limits, it would appear I'm not alone in the struggle. Next up; chum fishing, hopefully I'll be able to recover my confidence in fishing for those brutes soon.

Clinch and improved clinch knots are also known as slipknots. They fail me too often that I don't ever use of teach that knot.

What’s the difference between using a baitcaster/ spinner for float fishing? Maybe a video idea on what is best for different methods?
