Olimar’s a Family Guy (Pikmin Animation)

Pikmin is probably one of my favorite Nintendo series of all time. I used to make comics about it under the name Dominosaur, so if you look that name up you can see all the video game comics I made awhile back. I’ve been thinking about animating some of them.

Next week is my first movie review! It’ll be a full length video about 12 minutes long. I won’t tell you what the movie is yet, but here’s a hint: “you can stand me up at the gates of hell, but I won’t back down.” If you’ve seen the movie then you probably know what it is lmao.

I love this whole thing so much, but 0:19 gets special praise from me, the little doodles remind me of what you might see in the manual for Pikmin 1 and 2, or the data files for 3.

I like how as Olimar Runs up the table his kid's eyes just are wide open (0:25) right before olimar literally THROWS HIS OWN CHILD INTO THE SINK LIKE HE'S SOME SORT OF PIKMIN XD!
