My son is an Australian neuroscientist. He is currently working in a top health facility in the USA on unique research that would be very beneficial to millions of people worldwide. He has already been approached by several other US facilities, who see the potential in his research, to work for them. His plan was to stay in the US, it's been his goal for many years.

I have a friend from India who is a software engineer. He told me 20 years ago that it's so much cheaper to get an education in India than in the United States. He said they get educated there and come to the states to get jobs. Maybe the MAGA movement is afraid of this type of immigration. But maybe the Republicans should have put more money toward education in this country instead of initiating spending cuts to make billionaires richer.
