Honest's effect reminds me of Flame Wingman and Shining Flare Wingman since you can either use their effect or just issue a direct attack. Honest's power boost means that your powered up monster will always deal damage equal to its original attack. The Wingmen's burn damage using their opponent's monster's attack points in the graveyard/discard pile is also the same as the Wingmen's current attack points. Unless your opponent's monster changes its attack or was in defense mode, using any of these effects is as good as a direct attack and vice-versa.

Except that Honest only works on light monsters such as himself.

Ghostrick Lantern is (was) the best main deck card in that deck, and Ghostrick Specter with the Jiangshi combo was also awesome (have your opponent attack your set Jiangshi, user its effect to search Specter, then when Jiangshi is destroyed by that battle, summon Specter and draw a card). Good times. I routinely beat full-power Nekroz with Ghostricks at locals with those shenanigans =D
