My Day in Detail.
Let me take you through one of my most productive days to show you exactly how I apply these strategies.

First Ride
I picked up Patrick near my house for a $10 fare to the DMV in Pomona. Just as I was about to hit the freeway towards Ontario Airport (knowing there are plenty of early flights at 7:00 AM), I received a $15 ride request. Even though Patrick was still in the car, I accepted it because it would take me right by Ontario Airport. The ride involved a 15-mile, 20-minute trip to pick up the next passenger and then a quick 10-minute, 3-mile drop-off at the airport. Unfortunately, the passenger canceled because I was too far away and still had a rider, but it was worth a shot for the potential rematch at the airport.

Second Ride
I picked up Alexis, which turned out to be a package delivery for $24. The 28-mile, 33-minute trip was unique because Alexis texted me saying she'd toss the package from her window due to her gate malfunctioning. It was an interesting experience!

Third Ride
Fatima booked a Comfort ride for $18. She was a 5.0-rated passenger needing a 20-mile, 32-minute trip to LAX Airport. I took it because rides to the airport often lead to lucrative rematches and tips. Fatima forgot her cell phone, so I went back to return it. Uber didn't pay extra for this, but Fatima tipped me $8 for the effort.

By the end of the day, I had earned $435 and driven 207 miles. For the week, my total earnings were $2,125—$1,700 from the Uber app and $425 from private rides.

Bro I’m in the same market and I made $345 dollars yesterday alone from 8pm to 5:30am this morning it’s just a matter of staying out there or not. I made 50 in my first two hours though, had I said oh well tough night and clocked out at 4 hours I wouldn’t see the funds, it’s better than working 40 hours per week at $25 per hour, with only 45 minutes for lunch each day and being made to feel like you’re never working hard enough!! It beats a regular 9-5 by a mile!!!

Happy to see you guys still get a few profitable rides. Miami Florida is done. These poor saps doing UberX have no idea they're upside down on profits. They have no plan when their engine and transmission goes.

I'm shocked on the low price for 6 to 11 km. Where i live (new subdivision)is 8 km from city line City (town)is only 2km wide . It was $20.00 last year which was over priced . Now $45.00 one way. I'm 2 mins drive to all main box doors and etc. Actually it takes more time (15 to 25mins )for anyone in that town to reach the main stores . I needed the taxi due to a surgery . I'm in central Alberta

I worked for 3 days and made $4 for a 2 mile drive with ride share. Most offers pay less than $2 a mile. Not worth it. Ive declined 99% of all offers.
