I don’t know what is worse, the fact that this song has to exist, the 100’s of comments saying that they fear that this could happen to their kids and they pray that it doesn’t, or that i can say that i am a survivor of a school shooting and I know what it is like being in that classroom waiting thinking that this is the end.

Sadly I’ve had to live through a school shooting. No teachers would open the classroom door for me. I hid in the bathroom till one teacher had a feeling someone needed help. She open the door when the shooter went to the other hallway and she grabbed me and locked the door again. I didn’t know how to react but when he was down the hall I went to try again to get in a room that’s how she found me. This was in Canada and back in 2007. I thank God everyday for her saving me
