Thanks for sharing! I think you might be among a select, fortunate few able to obtain a CS degree midway through a different career. Would you say that it’s still realistic in 2024 for self-taught programmers without CS degrees to land an entry-level SWE role?

I'm not sure it's a great strategy to pick a specialization before you start learning. You have no idea how different roles actually are at that point. Maybe better to start with learning the foundations that keep as many options as possible available to you.
