I recently purchased two 2-channel RC Cessna 182 imitations from eBay for less than $30 each and reviewed them. However, both maiden flights were performed in strong breeze:

In this video, I am flying these two little airplanes back-to-back and comparing them. Neither one of them is a "bud" right out of the box, but one of them is significantly better in terms of flight performance and controllability than the other on.

These two I call my "buds". If you buy any one of these two, you will have a great experience right out of the box.
