I recently purchased two 2-channel RC Cessna 182 imitations from eBay for less than $30 each and reviewed them. However, both maiden flights were performed in strong breeze:
In this video, I am flying these two little airplanes back-to-back and comparing them. Neither one of them is a "bud" right out of the box, but one of them is significantly better in terms of flight performance and controllability than the other on.
By the way, here are the reviews of my favorite 2-channel airplanes, the QF-002 Baby and the C-17 Transport Aircraft:
These two I call my "buds". If you buy any one of these two, you will have a great experience right out of the box.
I recently found the QF-002 Baby without the LED lights on eBay for $21.22 and immediately purchased to keep it as a backup:
On the day I posted this video on YouTube, this item unfortunately was already out of stock with this seller, but you should be able to find it from another seller or online vendor at a similar price.
