My credit card transactions are automatically loaded. Even though Dave doesn’t like credit cards, the premium version does let you connect your credit card accounts unless it’s an American Express account. Those are not supported.

AWEsome video. this is EXACTLY how I have morphed my budget on every dollar. I don't connect it to the bank because 1. I am cheap and 2. I have several accounts and that would get too complicated. the fund category never really made any sense so I have not been using it. I have found that having a budget is SO CRUCIAL for saving money and not overspending. Before I diligently tracked my spending with a budget I was spending WAY MORE than I thought I was. I think DR doesn't emphasize enough to ppl to get on a budget before diving into all the other stuff to get out of debt.

I use Every Dollar premium and it absolutely brings in all the transactions on my credit card (paid off every month). Premium version is worth it for that alone, and the insight reports are nice too.

How do I track my overspending if I’m adjust my budget so it says it’s an every dollar budget? Do I just write it down and change things or is there a proper why to do it within the app?

How do you keep track of credit card purchases? And then credit card payments?? Which of course are payed off monthly 🎉….
If I subtract the charge from groceries for example on the day I make my purchase, how do you recommend recording the credit card bill payment when it comes the next month?
If the charge has been subtracted when it was made, then gets subtracted when I pay off my monthly card balance, it will be double charged??
