Will this sell? Are you going to get a Team Associated B6.4CC? Sorry, I was lost for words and that doesn't happen that often I know! I love it but confused about who will actually be purchasing this kit. Will you be getting one?

It’s obviously for people who have just sold their 6.4 ready to get the 7 but still hold the memories of running the 6.4. Sound familiar?

I think a lot of club racers have done really well with their 6.4s and Associated are trying something that might be a really smart bit of listening to their customers. I think they know that racers will now hang on to cars that they are fond of and turn them into shelf queen displays to go with their trophies. I think the CC version is a way catering for this and having a bit of a flex to say we're world champions, and this is our instant classic. Fair play to them for trying something new.

IDK how I feel about this release. Feels like it a watered down version of the RC10CC. Just wished they kept the clear to the older kits. It does look good though.

I can see this being either for people who have the other clear version and want both, or collectors who just want to keep this new one in the box. P.S. - I love breaking news segments!!

Maybe a clear racing class can be started, like vintage? Of course the clear class will have no jumps, and be flat carpet..

They should fill the orders for the rc10cc first, I'm still waiting on mine!

It looks great but if it's just to sit on a shelf that seems a bit odd for a modern racing buggy. 30 years from now I expect it'll be sought after by those who raced one while they were the latest buggy, or even those who simply remember them. Seems like all the manufacturers are trying to coin it in on the current boom in the collector market. Can't say I blame them. Come on Marui! I want a brushless capable Ninja 😀

The modern 2wd racing buggy chassis design has already optimized much to the same even across brands and would very, very likely remain like this indefinitely - unless the tracks and perhaps rule change are so drastic (e.g. head back to rear-motor mounted again for starters) This cc kit indeed does not make sense for me even as a collector's piece, and even if one wants to collect it, isn't it way better to get the kit that can be raced with.

They just need to rere a gold pan at an affordable price and an rc10T black pan as well. Everyone wants retro not new or clear

It would have been better if they sent out a transparent shocks for the RC10CC.

My guess is the demand for the RC10cc started falling off and they had a lot of clear resin left. They were getting ready to pull the mold blocks from the dies and thought they’d make some B6.4’s in clear before changing tooling over to the B7

I’ve always thought a clear body would look cool on an rc so you can see the inside working.

i think its a cool idea from AE to sell 6.4cc for those who whant one in the colection as it is the perpose.
and well AE is going to sell the few 6.4 that hobby shops got in stock before the b7 so by doing a clear 6.4 version right now while the molds are hot they extend the sell and profit a bit longer.

Now that is odd. Also absurd. BUT...there are people out there who buy, build, collect and shelfqueen RC cars. So I think Associated might be onto something.

For the shelf queen builders out there…. Rejoice!!!

This one seems like a bit more of a cash grab, but I would have understood and maybe been excited if they made a B4 like this, considering it was the most dominant buggy in recent history

Now this is a strange one, i could understand if was the new 7, but this ? Although, i can see people who had one and loved it being interested, aswell as those who are die hard AE fans. Will they drop a clear 4wd 🤔

Yeah, that one is a odd one to do. The classics I can see more than a modern buggy. I am curious what the price point will be. If it is any where near race buggy pricing I can see it turning into a flop! If the drop the price down to around the $250-275 mark it may have half a chance but I doubt they do that!
