A few Las Vegas Raiders that I'll be watching for in the preseason opener that will factor in big on how the Raiders do this season.

I'm thinking it's going to be O'Connell, but I will not be disappointed if it's Gardner. I want the best QB, and believe that with either man this offense is going to shine!!!

I think we need to be patient with our QB’s, especially O’Connell, he’s learning a new system in his 2nd year.
I think we’ll continue to see improvement through the pre-season as he gets more comfortable with Getsy’s system. A lot depends on OL’s ability to open holes for the run game and take the pressure off

True... Gannon was a surprise... there's similarities with Minshew... but a lot has to happen.

My two top concerns you just mentioned, Depth at CB, in the past, opposing QBs knew to target the Fayscon, Amik, or whoever we had filling in which burned us. Hope the bench guys we got are ready. Second is obvious. QB play. I'm a little concerned with how Minshew and AOC is handling defense at practice.

When I listened to AP when he was talking about Minshew and AOC, he said " Minshew has a really good couple of days, he's made some really good throws but also had some turnovers. Aiden has been very accurate with the ball, the WRs haven't done him any favors with drops, the offense as a whole has to improve so without saying who he has at top, he did say who he has at top. Minshew seems to be turning the ball over more and the WRs are dropping dimes by AOC. I also personally think AOC will start because he put up 0 points against the Vikings last year and would want to get that bad taste out of his mouth. That's a personal opinion. I would want to do that. If I was on the Raiders and starting. I want ALL My starters out there just to score a td on that defense!

Has it occurred to anyone yet that 12 and 15 are perhaps EQUALLY PERFORMING at a higher level, or is it just me?

Minshew has experience, athletic prowess, he's intelligent, and he's been going up against a stacked, stingy defense. AOC is as well, but he's bringing that arm and that accuracy, and his ability to read the defense, just doesn't have all that much experience at the position.

Perhaps the competition at this level has brought out the best in both, but if they're running neck and neck, how could anyone possibly see either one really standout?

I predict the Raiders D will be top 5 in the league this season. That takes pressure off the Offense. The Raiders should pick up a free agent, QB that likes to run and pass, then rotate QB’s into the starting lineup based on opponents and specific game situations. This will confuse opposing defenses and keep the team under the salary cap. Al Davis invented RB-by-committee, and now the team needs to invent QB-by-committee.

What about the rookie receiver that's been lightin it up i heard in camp .. apparently Piece moved him up from 3rd team to second team and apparently him and O'Connell had been hittin it off .. establishing a great connection I hear !!!??!!

I love Isiah Palomao he's one of my favorite Raiders on defense. I'dive him to Will LB and put Deablo on the bench.

it may seem like our qb's havent done much against our defense and i believe a part of it is because we are going to have a legit top 5-10 defense but i also believe our qb's are moreso the type to have to play a game and it comes naturally as to their instincts, i cant put my finger on what you would call that but im sure some people know what i mean, they have to play live reps and it will come to them while playing and i believe we will be more than fine with our qb room when it comes down to it

McDaniels was a joke! He brought in Chandler Jones, who underperformed and went 5150. Then he brings in Jimmy G, who was absolutely horrible. Im just glad M Davis had the balls to axe him...on Halloween 😂😂
