this is my testimony…
i was in the absolute worst point of my life. i was 9, starving myself, harming myself, and nearly killed myself. i stayed home sick from school one day and decided to end it, my dad had gotten in the shower and went to his closet and grabbed his gun. i held my finger on the trigger and heard a voice “i will rescue you”, no one around, and the shower still running. scared, i put the gun down. to this day, ik God saved me. i’ve never told anyone this story. i love this song so so much because it uses the exact words God told me. and fun fact, this song was released exactly a year after i had started eating again, became clean from sh, and began following Jesus.
