I never expected pedigo submission fighting to put out a gi based white belt instructional but I'm very thankful for it!

47 year old white belt, 6 weeks in. This is by far the most helpful video I have watched yet. Huge huge eye opener. He really broke down some basics I know I can start to implement. Thank you guys for putting this content out there!

It’s the little things that make you better and change your game— the best stuff I’ve ever been taught as a white belt. Thanks Jorge

I've never had someone explain using the feet whilst starting bottom. I've always focused on hand fighting or using my hands to attack the legs first, then legs come in secondary. Will definitely keep this in mind next session.

Top stuff PSF 🤙

This is an incredible white belt video. Everyone can benefit from watching this I wish I had it when I started. Great to focus on concepts instead of a specific technique you might not even get into during a roll. Something I would add is being on your side instead of your back from bottom mount is a good general rule of thumb.

Your channel is so far ahead in terms of giving back to jiu jitsu and putting videos out like this. Pedigo style jiu jitsu is awesome the attacking style

I know I'm a little late to the party but I have watched this twice now and its awesome. I'm 47 and a month in to the Jiu Jitsu journey and this video has helped me 1000%...not just fundamentally regarding technique, but also from a mindset point of view....dont be afraid of failing, its how you learn. Thanks Jorge & Sophia for your time in making this. Looking forward to watching some more 👌

Brilliant video! Great concepts that will certainly help anyone. This was all taught to me in private lessons during my white belt. The problem is how much there really is for white belts to learn. The basic positions (top and bottom), alignment, posture structure and base in all positions, how to move with alignment so you apply maximum effect with minimal effort and in a way that you don't injure yourself, how to relax... The list is a mile long and it's tiny details that not everyone learns easily.

I didn’t even know most of this existed 🤨 I’m questioning all I’ve learned, but glad I know now!

I’m getting my blue belt next month. During the grading we go through a shark tank where everyone tries to pass your guard while you’re seated just like this. This is gonna he super helpful. I always hand fight but rarely get my feet involved unless I’m looking for a single leg x entry. Thanks!!

Excellent Tutorial! By the way, perhaps a future video can go into guard retention for us White Belts? Thanks!
