"Must Be Seven" starts the end of the first set of this evening's performance and was released on the Billy Strings album Home from 2019.
The traditional Appalachian song "John Hardy" has roots going back to 1916 when it was published. It's first recording is from 1924 by Eva Davis. The Carter Family recorded a version in 1928 as "John Hardy Was a Desperate Little Man." Bill Monroe and His Blue Grass Boys are a well known interpreter as well (1962).
