We had a very short few hours in Edinburgh, but I totally believe you can do it in a day! It was lovely to see and tick it off the list! Here’s 7 things you can do:

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Walk down Cockburn St (quirky & quaint shops, + The Milkman for coffee)
🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Brunch at @lailaedinburgh (arguably the most instagrammable location in Edinburgh)
🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Walk down Victoria St (also believed to be the inspiration for Harry Potter’s Diagonal Alley!)
🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Vennel Viewpoint (viewpoint of the castle, and is great for photos!)
🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Princes St (Scott Monument, lovely gardens in the autumn, and the National Gallery are beautiful)
🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Ross Fountain (when it’s turned on, it’s a lovely spot with a view of the castle + autumn colors around!)
🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Dean Village (absolutely adorable and we saw a cute little otter down the stream, it was so cute!)

+ here’s some things we didn’t try:
✨ afternoon tea at Palm Court Balmoral or Red Bus Bistro
✨ Circus Lane
✨ Carlton Hill
