as a practicing Muslim I felt that this thing was optional. the other 2 Eids are not in Quran however. the Truth is that those hijazi Arabs, particularly quraish were not very bright. Umar changed the calendar to be only monthly. made us the stupid civilization who doesn't have a full solar year. lol

A fundamental misunderstanding of what constitutes a biddah. None of the sahabah understood it the way you describe it. There are many examples to this effect like the second adhan of juma or taraweeh becoming 20 rakah, etc. all the principles behind the mawlid are proven and you are allowed to combine these principles to accommodate the needs of the people. Shirk obv is still shirk. Allah knows best

A politician lies . I would, some what expected and understand that it is a part of the " territory "
But for a " Pious man of allah" to lie and it was caught on 3 separate occasions ?🤥🤥🤥
