Today we are in the beautiful country of Bulgaria, visiting places that you absolutely must visit if you're visiting the country.

In this video, we are attempting to climb the second highest mountain in Bulgaria, Vihren Peak. Additionally on this hike we will be attempting to summit the third highest peak in Bulgaria, Kutelo Peak Via the infamous Koncheto Ridge. Inshallah

Vihren Mount is the highest peak of Pirin Mountain and the second highest in Bulgaria after Musala. It is located between the rivers Banderitsa and Vlahinska, while its height of 2914 meters above sea level challenges both mountain tourism enthusiasts and experienced mountaineers.

Peak Kutelo is located in the northern part of Pirin National Park in Bulgaria, between Vihren and Banski Suhodol mounts. It’s positioned on the main ridge of the mountain and consists of several peaks with minimal differences in height

Koncheto means “the Little Horse”. According to a mountain story, the ridge was given this name because before the metal support rope was installed in 1963, inexperienced tourists crossed the ridge by straddling it like a horse and crawling.
