You could also multiply by 3 on both sides, resulting in 2t=3/4, then divide by 2 on both sides (or multiply by 1/2 on both sides), getting t=3/8.

I'd multiply both sides by 3/2 or would that be too easy?

2 sec: Cross multiply: 2*4=8, 3*1=3, the solution is 3/8. Why is the video 20 min long???

Humility is a Godsend, as you're always checking yourself! The WHOOPS factor is a paramount deflator of a puffed up ego! Thank you for your honesty! Thank you 😇 😊!

Multiply both sides by 3/2 to only get the variable t on one side of the equation.

(1/4)(3/2) = 3/8

I get c) 3/8. I multiplied both sides by 3/2.

Let isolate t. We do that by multiplying both sides by 3/2, giving us : (6/6)t = (3/2)*(1/4)→ 1t = 3/8

2/3 t = 1/4 multiply both sides by 3
2 t = 3/4 and divide by 2
t = 3/8

Mutliply 2/3 by 4/4 to get 8/12
Multiply 1/4 by 3/3 to get 3/12
12's cancel, 8t=3, divide by 8, t=3/8

2/3T = 1/4 => (3/2)(2/3T) = (3/2)(1/4) => 6/6T = 3/8 => T = 3/8

At the title (0:01), and it may not be the "right way" to solve it, but my answer is c_ 3/8.
if 2/3 of t is 1/4, then 1/3 of t would be 1/8.
Therefore, 3/3 of t or 1*t = 3/8.

The answer is (c) . Solved by cross-mutiplying.

I understand why you take so long to explain the problems. Some people have never seen these equations etc. In my case, most of them are simple, but in a couple of them, I needed the long explanation.

I was worried when I saw the duration of the video because it took me 30 seconds to solve this one. ;)
Cross product is one of my favorite tool. :)
8t = 3, so t = 3/8.

thanks for the fun. multiple choice makes it easier.

Divide both sides but 2/3. Answer is 3/8.

t=(1/4)(3/2), t=3/8 So (c) is the right answer

I just got rid of the denominators by multiplying both sides by 12 then solved for t

Your method is good too but I like cross-producing. ;)

One second of delicious brainpower needed: t = 1/4 x 3/2 = 3/8
