i'm here because my mum recently got charged $3000 for a pretty basic paint job on the front of her house., they got a few quotes too. He only used like 8 litres of paint and it took him less than 6 hours. The paint cost like $500, he left us with all the leftover paint. As much as I think he ripped my mum off, it made me realise, painting is a racket where I live. There just isn't enough trades people and they're charging huge fees.
