I've been enjoying your eyeshadow palette series of videos. I myself am drawn to palettes with green, violet/blue-based purples (these don't seem as common as pink-based purples) and taupe color stories! I love satin and shimmer textures.

I still use og Naked. I'm pale to fair but my undertone is neutral, leaning cool. Naked is warmer, more brownish as Naked 2 but the shades are still muted, hazy and soft. So I prefer Naked over Naked 2 most days. I also like Naked 1, 2 and 3 also as a base and then Soft Glam, Honey, Sultry and Cherry as the pop of colour. Those palettes are great but in the winter to much for me on its own.

I’m loving this series! Will you be doing a collection/declutter, too? I’d love to see that. Also a series about showcasing old palettes would be super fun! I have some old stuff (like naked 1, 2 and 3) and I’d love to see looks with them as I have no idea how to do the pretty makeup thing (I’m incompetent 😂) haha, and I’d like to learn as I have like 13 palettes and I want to start actually using them!

Hi. Feel being mature your normal complexion changes and automatically lightens now being fair and now my bright silver hair and blue eyes you need to adjust all your products, but it’s another chapter in your life so yes adjustment is very important to change and adapt so yes another personal choice to still look as beautiful as you are able. I just love your opinion and great to see your transformation from natural to colour eyeshadow, it’s been a pleasure to watch your eyeshadow journey it’s been fun to see, as. I know mine so I fully understand your adaptation, for me Charlotte tilbury answered my prayer and I just got into buying a different one each month until I acquired all her quads and for birthdays and christmases her holiday palettes, but it’s perfect for my collection to enjoy, so nothing garishly obvious, just beautiful shades to enhance not grab you by the neck !, but to look graceful and elegant, it’s been a pleasure to enjoy your eyeshadow month thank you, my love liz from U.K. x

If I purchased an only swatched Lorac 3 from Macari, ...could I still get the impacts you speak on for my eyes? I've never used Lorac as of now but am quite interested in the 2 and 3 . Still salty about them discontinuing the naked original and naked 2 palette! They should’ve discontinued the naked smoky instead! At least I have a back up of the naked 2 lol! The abh subculture palette is pretty! The lorac pro 3 is a great palette because it’s perfect for everyday! I really want to get the soft glam eventually too it’s beautiful! I really want the huda beauty desert dusk palette!

I think when you say "it got a lot of slack" you actually mean flack, not slack :) getting flack means getting criticism, while the word slack is used in the expression "to cut somebody some slack", meaning, to go easy on them
