Thrillers are my jam, so I am familiar with all these books! I am going to pick up Girl, Forgotten this month sometime. I didn't watch the show. I have read like 98% of all her books. I picked up the Ashley Winstead one... oops sounds like you didn't favor this one. I read The Nothing Man and enjoyed it. I also read 56 Days by this author too. Thanks for a good one!

Just finished reading a net galley ARC that was a "thriller" and was a book within a book - and the author of the book ( in the book) was corresponding with " a killer" who was "helping" her write her book.. and here I thought I was reading an original idea - ended up just being two stories which could have been great on their own but were crammed together.. Unfortunately a great Thriller is so hard to find - they have to come out of the gate and hook you and then maintain that intensity throughout, a huge demand on any author - But OMG when they get it right, what a read and it causes me to hope to find more...sooo there I go wading through everything from horrible to mediocre in hopes of having my next thriller "hit".

I had such a mix of emotions with The Last Housewife. It was a page turner and I thought it was a 5 star but, only gave it 4 star due to how uncomfortable it made me 😳. I think eventually I’ll move it up to 5 once I get some distance from it 🤪😂

I also was really disappointed by Run Time. I liked Nothing Man and 56 Days, so I hope her next book is like those.

I have a weird suggestion... for me a thriller/thrilling experience makes me scream out loud :) Suits to Boots is channel by a woman who runs an animal sanctuary with her husband. 3 days ago there was an incident with a snake in the barn... I actually screamed three or four times ;) lol it is “Bri saves Lester and Jami from certain death” (great channels if you like animals)

As for the books, all added to my tbr...haven’t read any yet :)

I really don't like Catherine Ryan Howard's books! None of them have been good for me which is sad because the premises are always so fascinating!! I really want to read The Last Housewife!!

I'm definitely a moos reader too. I've been reading a lot of thrillers lately. But I agree, I like a better ending. More of a shocking ending, if you will. Lol.

I’m sorry for my comment…but could you please hold the book for long time so your camera adjusts and so we can actually look at the cover please?? Thx 🤓 we who watch the recommendations love to stare at the covers !! ….but unfortunately most of the YouTubers prefer talking with their hands…🌺💜🌺💜

Yeah...Run time could be a potential 5-star but the last third of the book is so underwhelming. It's ended up 3½⭐
