You don't play Switch to get better graphics. You play it for the convenient support and multiplayer-friendly console. I'm getting the game on PS4 but I wouldn't have felt let down if I had bought it on Switch.

Canadian Guy Eh Pura's kart in the switch screenshot is actually using the Oxide Nitro Kart Wheels, not the N. Trance Nitro Kart Wheels.

Switch version benefit: You can play Mario Kart 8 DX, Team Sonic Racing and CTR:NF.
Pretty much have the 3 important party race games always at hand.
