As it was in the days of Noah

True disciples of Christ need to know more than just about personal salvation and how to avoid hell. That is what a mere convert will be interested in. In Jesus’ last instructions, commonly known as the Great Commission these were His Words:
Go then and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them]into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
Teaching them to observe everything that I have commanded you.
Making disciples, baptizing them, teaching them. Mat 28:19,20 Amp
One of the important questions to which His disciples needed answers was what would happen towards the end of the church age.
We find in Matthew 24 Jesus coming out of the Temple and going to the Mount of Olives. His disciples asked Him:
Tell us what will be the sign of Your coming and the end of the age? Mat. 24:3
So, He sat down and spoke privately to them these words that Matthew presents to us in this Gospel passage.
With respect to His return, the key verse is:
But as the days of Noah were so shall the coming of the Son of Man be.
Mat. 24:37 King James
This statement needs to be thoroughly studied before we dive into several main human characteristics that can be identified in the world before the flood.
The New Testament was written in Greek and the first words but as in the original text mean just as or precisely as.
This is important to know because Christ was prophesying that the people who would be alive at the end of the church age would experience exactly the same kind of society that was evident before the Flood.
He then said So shall the coming of The Son of Man be. The word ‘coming in Greek is parousia Strongs 3952. Depending on the context in which it is used it can refer either to the Rapture or the Second Coming of Christ.
Because the word is used 7 times by the apostle Paul in his letters to Thessalonians, which is where we learn most about the Rapture, I believe Christ is referring to the ‘snatching away’ of the Church, the Bride of Christ.
Parousia is a strong word used for the coming of a king whose arrival will bring order to a wrong situation.
Either when Jesus comes to retrieve His Church or returns with His saints at the end of the Tribulation to deal with the devil, His coming will be a glorious event.
And the cool thing is that we, this present generation will be the generation to witness it.
Let’s now examine hugely important events that are taking place in our world today. Were similar events happening just before the Flood?
You will be amazed to find not only similarities but precisely the same conditions are true now, as they were then.
I don’t know if you realise that we are among the very privileged few people know these truths.
God loves to share His secrets with His friends who reverently fear Him . I have called you My friends, because I have made known to you everything that I have heard from My Father. [I have revealed to you everything that I have learned from Him. John 15:15 AMPC
The secret [of the sweet, satisfying companionship] of the Lord have they who fear (revere and worship) Him, and He will show them His covenant and reveal to them its deep meaning. Psalm 25:14 AMPC
So, are you ready to discover some of His secrets?
