San Jose Earthquakes needs to improve. This game was awful.

This is the worst referee ever. He should have lost his PRO license. It was honestly offensive. I think by Friday MLS should release a press statement apologizing for the referee's conniption.

I'm not convinced that the referee could have had a worse game. He could have tried to fix the match, and would have still performed better.

What's a foul anyway, the ref called the weakest fouls against sporting and the strongest fouls were totally ignored.

The environment seems really energetic, it's the only stadium that I've seen this full compared to the rest of the season matches

All we ask in MLS is for consistency. If you call fouls one way don't change it a second later when the other team commits it. This crew was... not great

I always joke about bought out refs but… I was there and San Jose would do something and not get called and kc would do the same exact thing 5 seconds later and get called for it (not exaggerating it happened 4 different times where it was this blatant) not to mention all the other horrible calls

As a sporting fan I thought dickerson did fine. I think the PK was not worthy of a PK. The cautions and send offs were warranted. I thought Harris and Duke looked much better than I thought.

How many blue collar workers would still have their job if they screwed up as much as Joe Dickerson did yesterday? Zero. That's how many. Yet officials never seem to have any consequences for their performances. The next time I see Joe Dickerson, if should be at a USL or little league game.
