Very very true. It's almost like you need to nudge yourself. The same happened to me when i travelled to Ireland, i went into the store with my aunt and i saw shoes i was amazed by. And i stuck to buying a variety of cheaper items, and my aunt suggested i buy the shoes. If she didn't tell me to, i wouldn't have given myself the opportunity, and that is how the mind holds you back.
