From Premier League surprise package to League Cup winners, Swansea City have cemented themselves as the biggest team in Wales.

In 2011, Swansea made history by becoming the first Welsh side to play in the Premier League after Scott Sinclair bagged a hat trick to beat Reading in the Championship playoff final.

That result kicked off a 7 season spell in English football’s top flight that brought us the likes of Michu and Wilfred Bony along with some eye-catching football.

However, in 2018, the club finished 18th in the league, was relegated to the Championship, and has been stuck there ever since.

Today, we take charge of the Swans to guide them back to the Premier League and try to replicate the cup success of 2013.

Such a fun club to manage. Last year I landed there in a journeyman save to save them from Championship relegation. Took them to the prem and to repeat the Carabao Cup, win the FA Cup and the Europa League. Also made it a challenge for myself to have the best Welsh footballers in my team, and found an insane Welsh striker wonderkid in Exeter who I bought for 550k and turned him into what would surely be the Welsh top goalscorer in history (he had 1.5 goals per appearance foe the national team). Honestly the most fun I had with Football Manager ever was that Swansea run.

I've seen 5000-1 in my current save journeyman save while i was at Auckland United. Eastern Suburbs had a horrendous squad and then due to doing into administration got 9 points deducted before the season started. They only got 3 points all season and conceded 123 goals in 22 games 😳

Cyril the swan. been a fan of Swansea because of FM and Ki Sung Yeung. Hopefully we only need take 5 more seasons to be champions of the Prem. Let a man dream!
