Tested with dark choc and raspberry sauce...SUCCESS. You wouldn't believe that 40 seconds would give you the perfect consistent ice drink, but it does. 40 exactly is absolute perfection, just enough flow to make straw-drinking very easy without the clogs, and it fully pulverised the chocolate chips. Threw a carrot and some strawberries in to enhance the rasp flavor...WOW!

Hi Josh Witt, thanks for the questions. Yoghurt was a healthier option, however, cream or milk is traditionally used and will taste better. Condensed milk may make it a bit sweet. I hope this helps.

When my work mates and I would get a little grouchy with each other, I'd run home and grab my vitamix and ingredients to make these frappes. I'd set up in the kitchen at work and make big drinks for the whole gang. You'd be surprised at how quickly a drink like this can change a team's attitude and running speed. Sadly I'd have to leave out the Bailey's at work. haha

I love your recipe.  It's close to what I already make, except I use coconut cream and almond milk since I can't do dairy, and I use DaVinci's Kalua flavored syrup instead of coffee and unsweetened cocoa.  It comes out lovely for those you can't do dairy.

What is the purpose of having yogurt in? Does it affect the flavor? Is it similar to the effect of Condensed Milk? Does it go with condensed milk? Sorry for all these questions; just looking for the best taste with this drink.

I meant more what's its effect in the drink. I typically use yogurt (and only yogurt; no milk if I can get away with it) in smoothies and condensed milk in frappes. I guess since I've posted this comment I've experimented with it a little more. Do you know anything about Xanthan Gum? I read something about its utility in such drinks.

You could use raw cacao, Medjool dates, and a nut milk. Or simply throw in some cashews and add a bit if water to make a healthy one. Although yours does look nice 😄

So much sugar - with the kit kat and the choco syrup plus the whipped cream at the end. wish there was a way to make one without as much sugar.
