This is truly the best video ever!! It’s because it was a multi day camp. Need more of these please!!!

As kids, we were at a camp in Gatlinburg, TN. The camp counselors decided to have a Varmint Race with the winner getting $10. We had a half hour to go into the woods to find a varmint. I found a frog, my sister found a centipede and my brother snagged a salamander. It was in the 90s when the race began. We figured for sure my sister would win. Her centipede took off like a bat out of Hell and halfway through the race it stopped. Little thing fried on the pavement! My frog hopped its way to first place! Great memories!

I love this guy! The more complicated the weather, the more he is motivated to go out and camp. You have my respect!

My craziest camping experience is when we were backpacking on a little peninsula of a lake, and when we woke up, there were about 20 mountain goats, babies and all with in 2 or 3 feet of us. It was crazy.

I remember the blizzard of 93. We were living in Candler. We lost power for about 10 days, we had a fireplace and lots of wood, about 4 cords... But all in all, we had fun.

I'm in my tent about 20 some miles in the wilderness watching the adventure now! in a blizzard, and absolutely amazing! My craziest camping story was pretty much the same as yours, but in mine it was a grizzly bear and it woke me up it was sometime at night in the AM, it was growling and roaring, Wow was I freaked out, it was hanging around for a good hour seemed like it was right next to my tent from 30yrds. What an amazing adventure Luke, and it wasn't boring at all. I'm experiencing the samethings here you mentioned, staying in the tent most of the day, sleeping. Luke, you should get snow shoes for the deep snow! -Jake

"Here at Lone Wolf Mountain no one is going to hear you scream"  I think you just found the sign to keep trespassers off your property.

We got 40+ inches at my moms house in upstate ny from the blizzard of 93. I drove home from work in my 83 Cj-7 and was hitting drifts over the hood all the way home.

We really like your videos, not boring at all. You always have story’s to tell, as well as showing us the cold stormy weather all around you. Stay warm

I just want to say that your videos are very enjoyable. You are very articulate when you speak and very knowledable. You never over do it with plugs about gear and stuff. The stories you tell and the memories are very interesting. It takes a lot of guts to go out on your own as you do and we could never appreciate enough the fact that it is freezing where you are when we are nice and toasty in our homes. I would muchrather watch your videos that most of the useless stuff on TV. Take care and be well. Rob

Years ago hikers wore leather boots. Up high in the Smokeys on the AT, woke to find boots frozen into little curlie Qs. Remember searching out firewood in my wool sleep sox to thaw them out. Thanks for the memories.

That snow on the outside of your tent makes good insulation!

We live off those Nature's Bakery Fig Bars when we go hiking or camping! The Raspberry and Apple Cinnamon are the best, great show has always!

Multi day and in the snow no less, awesome Luke! I definitely have spring fever. Tried to go fishing at a lake with some friends this last weekend. Road was blocked with snow, had to drive many miles to a lower river. Caught nothing but got out of town & had a great day.

Regarding the great memory from your childhood that probably started you on your way to camping, when I was a boy my uncle gave me a small army surplus rucksack with a few things in it including a mosquito tent. It was like treasure. I spent many a night in the tent looking up at the stars. That's what started me on a lifetime of camping.
