Paint the all new Sanguinor for the Blood Angels!

The next wave of Blood Angels is here and I got my hands on some creator copies thanks to @officialwarhammer!

After getting everything built and primed together, I started with the all new Sanguinor! This beautiful model is very quick to paint, aside from his wings! His gold armour only takes a few steps, which gives you more time to spend learning his new rules too! There's a lot more detail you could add, but here at Mediocre Hobbies, we believe in playing with our wardollies instead of spending months painting them! Basing scheme:
AK Terrain Texture paste in Firelands-perfect dupe for Martian Ironcrust but a lot cheaper!
Allow each stage to fully dry in between!
Gryph-Hound Orange (contrast)
Ryza Rust (dry)
Screaming Skull (layer) Light drybrush over the top!

Ok grumble first, when I first saw this model showcased I thought it was lacking, I don't know why exactly just didn't like it, however have seen you painting it and moving around the model my opinion has changed! It's a gorgeous model *throws kitbashed sanguinor in bin* lovely accessible scheme as well great job as always

These new models are absolutely beautiful. I do 100% prefer bright white wings as he is quite literally an angel but the bone white didn’t look bad

I thought the new BA Captain also looked plain, but as you said showing it off.. You know, it looks a lot better! I think it is because in a lot of the pictures, you do not really get a good idea of the cape. Also, of course, a good ol' tactical rock helps a bunch as well. :)

Great Video, once more. Just painted up my Sanguinor as per your video, very pleased with the result. Now workign on Sang-Guards as well. What would you use for the spear shafts? The rest is more or less copy/paste from the Sanguinor.

One thing I found, while working on my Menoth Army for warmachine, for "script" on paper texts ect just do little scribble lines. Or if you want words try a black technical pen. The key is to not try to create actual words and phrases at that small level

The Sanguinor is a Daemon Prince of the Emperor.

Instead of using paint to write on the parchement, I use a 0.1mm permanent marker. It such a hack and makes it so easy! 10/10 try it out
