For me, this Arceus battle is far harder than the Volo battle, partly because even after all this time I really suck at dodging. XD

Also a tip. Supposedly you can buy a charm from an old lady in village ( Rightof training grounds) that'll make your person faint less. So if you struggle dodging him you can at least get hit a few more times

For the battle sections I lead with Palkia to bait it into using Judgment to turn into a Dragon type, which usually ends up knocking Palkia out. Then I send in Dialga to get in a super effective Roar of Time and that usually ends the fight pretty quickly, it was pretty consistent when I fought it.

Thank you thank you thank you, if I hadn't found this video I'd be curled in a ball trying to get past the first quarter of the frenzy gauge still. But, I followed your advice, stayed close, tried not to get too eager, died more than a few times (thank goodness for "continue battle"), and took someone's advice in here to sacrifice Palkia to bait him into turning into a Dragon type and using Judgement, and then rolled out a Strong Roar of Time with Dialga. That did it. Poor Arceus, beat by his own kids and now he's in a little ball on the hip of a 15 year old.

The further away you are the more he will teleport on you and drop death on your doorstep. Try to stay in a medium/medium short range like the video and you wont run into the teleport. The distance I keep I never even knew he would teleport on you so stay about that distance.

✨Make sure you have bought the "faint less Charms" from the old woman at the shrine to the right of the training grounds, that will help also. 1st version is $3k and the upgrades are $8k, $15k, $25k, and the final version for $40, 000.

Omg after like 50 tries I finally beat him. I think the trick is sorta get close to him because if youre too far he will do that teleport trick. I beat him without having to do that part.

I'm really struggling with this battle and getting rather frustrated. It's harder to see all the attacks on the switch lite. I can't zoom out as far as I'd like to.

my strategy for beating Arceus: 1 get as many fainting charms as i can hold
2 save before playing flute
3 soft reset for a glitch that has him starting with 1/4 energy (apparently exists, haven't found it, don't know if it will work, but i am desperate enough)
... did i mention i haven't beaten him yet, and probably never will
4 find someone else who can pass it for me -or-
5 skip him, do we really need a shiny charm, outbreak shiny rates are already really good

and 6 hope Game Freak doesn't put this as the only option in future games (put an option for both types of battles to exist in the game and let player choose) honestly i love this game and have beaten all the other balm battles (enjoyed them too, even if Avalugg drove me nearly over the edge), why is this like battling actual God

I'm not a gamer at all. Infact Arceus is the first game that I'm playing. I faced a huge block with this boss fight but somehow, clumsy me, cleared this. What a relief. 😮

Dude, he used the "Sixth attack" BEFORE THE FIRST BATTLE! I will NOT LOSE TO THE SPACE GOAT! I never got to face him back in the day, and now I have that chance! I finally conquered my Monster Hunter past when they brought Fatalis to Iceborne, I WILL CONQUER ARCEUS AS WELL!

for some reason the bombs barely work unless you're really close. It's frustrating. I'm finally in the last quarter and I've been at it for like 2 hours with breaks so I don't go nuts xD idk how anyone is good at the frenzy battles I hate them
