As a black woman who’s from a small little ky town (a predominantly white area at that) this is 100% true. Everyone knows everyone and even if your neighbor doesn’t even like you, they’re always there to help and look out for each other. Black or white, everyone’s invited to the BBQ and if you didn’t make it, someone is bringing you a plate lol

P.S I appreciate all the positive comments however I’m not really digging this race comment war I seem to have started. So let me clarify that where I’m from… The white country bumpkins that drive their lawnmowers to the gas station with no shoes and no shirt are just as frowned upon as black people in these same areas (they’re also the only ones that are racist) soo 🤷🏽‍♀️ do what that information what you will.
