It means that this community doesn't blindly follow Brett and her opinions, and that we can criticize her when we feel it's necessary. I hope she addresses this in some way. I'll continue to get frustrated by people, regardless of political stance, who are clearly unwilling to fact check their own party's statements, laws, agendas, etc. A wide range of what is covered in this video is partial truths (as another commenter said). Things that aren't so cut and dry in Trump's favor, aren't being checked. For example, border crossings are the lowest they've been in 25 years, but not "of all-time". They are significantly lower since the early 2000s, which is something to be proud of, and she had an opportunity to correct what was said and be less biased and more reputable as a result. I believe February 2024 there were 120k+ and February 2025 was 8, 400ish. As for Zelensky, he has expressed thanks and gratitude several times before. Obviously the meeting was meant to be about peace and there was a misunderstanding there, so I grasp the frustration Trump and Vance express, but talking down to Zelensky for not being gracious is just untrue and shouldn't be so willingly praised. it's frustrating to see someone with such a massive following on a widely accessible platform creating content that is so blatantly biased. It reminds me of Johnny Harris, who makes a ton of educational videos about history, politics, etc. and I typically enjoy his content too, but I noticed his coverage of Kamala Harris and his coverage of Trump were both very different and clearly exposed his loyalty to the Democratic party in the times leading up to the election. It was disappointing to see someone who had been pretty good about leaving their personal beliefs aside, unable to keep that same approach when creating videos targeting people who wanted to learn more about the two candidate's background--one of which was clearly favored. All I want is for someone to be completely honest and tell it how it is and leave the bias at the door. It is so frustrating that you can't find a solid middle-ground source for information. Watching people get giddy about something "their party" is doing, when half of it is bull shit is so disappointing. Speaking of "disappointing"... I can't believe I just wrote all of that.

Unlike most democrats, Trump voters should be willing to both paise certain things Trump has done and criticize other things Trump has done. Think critically and don’t love in a media bubble so you can make your own conclusions and opinions not based on only the extremes.
