don't judge camila's mom she's trying her best as a single mother of two in a country that constantly judges her. she tried her best but she commited a lot of mistakes before understanding camila's struggles.


i hope this video is relatable because when i was a kid going to church as either the best and worst experience.

i find this video very accurate and sweet because camilas mom is trying everything she can as a single mom and i can imagine it must be hard and confusing on what to do when things like that happen to a child ☹☹💗

As an autistic person who went to church at 4, me & my fam didn’t go back for a while because I was scared, confused & crying 😂 it was a sad time for everyone.

The sad part is that this is extremely common, a lot of people don’t realize that autism is something they’re born with, God made them that way, and that they should be accepted, but those people don’t accept, cause to them, it’s unnatural, when in reality, it’s incredibly natural, and they’re basically ignoring God’s teachings for not accepting someone with autism, when it’s not even a disease

oof, it's so scary how you portrayed the story, i've heard a LOT of stories like that, parents going to god to "cure" their child's autism... that's sickening and sad. (as someone who's possibly neurodivergent and is kinda dealing with that but not the church thing) it kinda hits home but on a different level

This reminds me of my mother's story with my sister. She was diagnosed with autism at age 3, when she took the tests with me. I never realized, but from my mother's stories, people looked at her the wrong way, but she never gave up. At 12, I received my diagnosis, and now I'm doing the evaluations for my psychological report. I have always appreciated and loved my mother, and the strength, courage and the love she has for her family is something beautiful to see. I love my mom so much ^__^
