PlayStation E3 2013 Day 2 Live Coverage - Thief

Square Enix shows off Thief gameplay and then sits down for an interview. Afterwards, PlayStation VP of Hardware Marketing, John Koller drops by to talk about the PlayStation 4 at PlayStation's E3 2013 Live Coverage show.

To be honest it's not the change in the voice actor that concerns me the most(even though it was a negative experience for me) but the fact that it seems that the game play was over simplified, I mean what is the point in the focus mechanic? Just add a highly sensitive 3D sound and it would immerse you in the experience even more as it creates the feeling of realism.

As he said after the demo, you can disable the focus ability if you want to, it's mainly for less experimented players who will struggle more with the game ;)

This is the 4th in the series.

I'm a fan of both games. The original Thief came out in 1998, while Dishonored came out in 2012.

I have a strong feeling that Thief is threated like a second hand title by the E3 audience and also comments here are kinda spammy, don't know why...

So if devs reading these comments, I personally think you guys did an awesome job to bring to us classic franchise in much more appealing way, than the first three games did it before.

Man, the game looks like it's ready in two weeks. Squenix should invest enough for a deep, engrossing voiced story with plenty cutscenes. Ppl really like their out house FMVs. FF series almost contain too many. Core gamers will get it regardless, so it's good. Eidos are highly competent at these re-inventations.
