man tore his bicep tendon pulling a fish shaped like a barn door off the bottom of a river, lost it, and came back and caught another one anyways, unreal dedication to the craft

The story of Jeremy wade is one of legend and myth, except it's all true.

Dr: You will lose 5-7% strength in your arm.
Jeremy: So only 2995% power left in my right arm?

My brother and I grew up in Eastern North Carolina. From a young age, we fished ponds, creeks, rivers, swamps, sounds, and the ocean.
We love your show. The knowledge and experience you share is a treasure.
Thank you.

So your saying there’s a monster stingray in Thailand still on the loose with the same hook in its mouth that took Jeremys tendon.
Looks like we’re on a man hunt for a stingray

His approach and respect to fishing and nature is spot on. He is by far my favorite host. So methodical and practical all in one. We love you Jeremy!!

I love how he blends science and technology with local customs and traditions, he did an episode in NZ and it was gold.

As a student of physical therapy I can confirm he DID NOT LOOSE a piece of his arm, Jeremy experienced a fairly common injury called a proximal bicep tear of one of the tendons in his bicep. Its not gone, its just contracted toward the distal end of his humorous (toward the elbow). Completely repairable by an orthopedic surgeon if he and his surgeon wish.

Watching as much of Jeremy as possible sitting here in covid isolation. Love the shows, keep them coming! BTW I had a run in with a monster bull shark on the Breede river in April....Made me think of your record.

My arm looks exactly the same as his but my 'stingray' was a young guy that I had no business arm wrestling with.
