Many people have a bad opinion of Durian, whereas this fruit is really tasty, it's very sweet and soft at the same time, the smell isn't so strong that it's an exaggeration, unless you eat a fruit that's too ripe or rotten, it won't taste good.

Durian comes from the word "Duri" with the suffix "an" which means thorny, just like Rambutan which means hairy.

Fun fact: “Mohn tong”means golden pillow in Thai! It’s most people’s favourite there but I prefer the “cha nee” variant. It doesn’t get the love it deserves!!
