If there’s extraterrestrial life and they a smart enough to travel to our solar system then I would assume they are familiar with the fact life is most common at a certain distance from the sun. They’d be looking in the vicinity that would be most hospitable for life. So why wouldn’t they find us. Unless they are made out of gas and can survive insurmountable temperatures they’d be familiar with the fact life can’t be too close or too far from the sun. I think theyd for sure find us.
