it's funny because if they released fool's gold like 2 years ago he would've easily been seen as one of the best hunters in the entire game. he has such a well rounded kit but they are all bound by a huge limitation of some kind. for example, his pickaxe to dash is complete garbage if there's not a straight path to catch up, like leo's where there's literally always an object in the way so you can't dash across the map properly to pressure. the rock should NOT shake to notify the survivors when it's about to crumble; it should be a read. and his chase is just too rough. you have to make a read with pulling the pickaxe and if you do make the right read, you only get one chip. you have to do that 4 times? feels like you have to work too hard for one chip damage. he has everything a hunter would want-- chase, mobility, and cipher pressure-- but he lacks strength in all 3 fields.

I really hope he will get a rework or a buff. I main him and sometimes it's really hard to make a tie or a win, even if I kill the first person quick. With him you really need to play mindgames with survivors all the time, so they make mistakes

Easy buff make the rock itself have a chip radius

Btw the timer for the axe pull back is 10 seconds so if you throw it out and place a rock at 9 seconds it will instantly activate the rock

I've been tryna grind for just a C badge fg but I found myself struggling already even when Im just a tier V Manticore. Getting a tie with him is already a pain in the a** let alone a 3k or 4k. Sometimes I wonder if I got skill issue or is he really just sucks, lol
