The entire album is a classic. Nobody sounded like The Cars when they released their first album. One of the top 5 best debut releases in music history.

The 70’s. Back when music production was a art and not just auto tune and compression. Good choice.

Everybody on the planet around my age just had a Phoebe Cates from Fast Times moment! Awesome stuff and cheers.

The Cars were quite a collection of talent, a band that was at the right place at the right time. They could play hard driving rock songs and ballads and easily pull it off. They featured two vocalists with their own unique styles as well. They had some ground breaking videos early in the MTV era .

I am a big Cars fan. I first heard "Moving in Stereo" in the movie "Fast Times at Ridgemont High" (1982)...a scene that made Phoebe Cates famous!

My favorite Cars songs are "Dangerous Type" and "Hello Again"

Like stated, this is from the pool scene with Pheobe Cates. Besides that scene, there is a rocker(Nancy Wilson) from Heart is in one scene in the movie.

Such a great reaction. Your faces said it all. My only regret is that you didn’t let it slide right into All Mixed Up.

I just saw their keyboard player in concert who put together a band and they did all (90%) Cars music - it was a great show. They're a Boston band and I live in Boston. Just know that they have significant rabbit hole-ability. Was fun to see you discover them! They came out when new wave music had started so they blended new wave with rock -- which is very cool! Some of my favorites by them: "Drive", "Bye Bye Love", "Let's Go!", "Just What I Needed", "Good Times Roll", "Dangerous Type".

So glad you are doing the Car's. Definitely ahead of its time. One of the greatest debut albums of all time. Their second album is great too. They have 2 lead singers . Benjamin Orr is singing hear and he played bass. Ric Ocasek is the other vocalist. This band is great!

Hey Mia and Juliet.
Cool video.
Great song. I remember being a teenager when this song was new.
I'm from Massachusetts. People from here loved The Cars.

Definitely do more of The Cars ladies! It's so cool that you guys chose to do them, because last night I just happened to binge listen to The Cars last night. I was in high school when they came out, and when I went to college and even later when I joined the Navy. They are one of my favorites from back then. That particular song I remember hanging out at the roller skating rink and they would turn the lights down with disco lights and play that song, talk about fond memories! Enjoy!

The Cars are one of those post punk early New Wave bands from the mid late 70s. GREAT music.

The Cars were so ahead of their time they still are today.

Ah background music to probably the most paused and slow motioned scene in teen movie history. Phoebe Cates emerging from the pool in that red bikini in "Fast Times at Ridgemont High". The Cars were a very underrated band from Boston who charted many hits in the late 70's and 80's

Fast Times in Ridgemont High made this song infamous. If you see the movie, you'll know what I'm talking about!
