Awesome reaction you two! Yeah, this happens more than we know. I once took a friend to a "mixed bar" where a friend was playing piano.. and I was dating the cocktail waitress. The place was packed. In walked LOLA, but my friend didn't know and before I could say anything he was buying her a drink. I figured he was a grown man and could handle himself. He came back about 20 min later very red-faced and said, "Dude, we're leaving."

Oh man, I have NEVER actually heard this song, but I do know the instrumentation thanks to the genius that is Weird Al Yankovic, who did an amazing parody of this song called "Yoda." I would love to see your reaction to that one.

I can't believe this song is over 50 years old. Crazy for me to think about. Not only was it from the '70s, it was from 1970.

I'm proud of you two for catching the "theme" of the song. I've watched a few tubers not quite get the story of the song. It's still catchy, bop-y, and all around groovy, but yeah, makes you wonder how many times any person with another person got the wrong notes lol

Ray says Gacey "took a shine" to Dave and they jumped in the van and headed for the next tour stop!
