it's so nice to have a clean place. my place has been piled up for years. it's more like a storage locker and i'm sick of it. i tried to sell some stuff and donated a LOT. it's getting there. then i'm going to paint. i have to admit it feels so empty. i wonder if that's what hoarders feel. i can walk around now. i don't have to watch that i don't trip and fall. but it feels empty. i didn't surround myself with garbage. it's stuff i bought. it's lonely, but im feeling better about letting people in. won't be ashamed and have to explain myself.

I suffer from depression because of my Tourettes and other mental health issues I have and when my depression got bad my house looked like this. I couldn't get out of bed and I lost lots of weight from not eating. My friends and family didn't care enough to help me and out of all people my landlord helped me instead of kicking me out. I can't thank her enough, it was an immediate relief when I walked into a clean home. 💕

I would definitely clean, even if there’s mold, bugs or any other issues. I can understand people who have trouble keeping their homes clean. I already helped a family member who struggled mentally. I just don‘t have to right cleaning tools or money but I made it work with soap and sponges. Something so ‚little‘ can change a life.
