Conspiracy was originally to be released using the inner sleeve art as the front cover. The inner sleeve depicts Father Picard entering the graveyard. King disliked it so much he had that scrapped and had to use his photo instead due to time constraints with the release. The rejected cover was given away to radio DJ's with a pic disc inserted in the empty sleeve. I had a copy of it. Today it is one of the most sought after relics for collectors.

Of the classic albums The Eye is my favorite. Granted they are all amazing, own and love them all.

My favorite King Diamond album is The Graveyard, followed by Spider's Lullaby. Both are just brilliantly creepy!

"Abigail" is my favorite from the classic era albums. All of them are very worthy though, need to get a copy of "The Eye".

My favourite King Diamond album is "Them". The most outstanding tracks for me were "The Invisible Guests" and "Bye Bye Missy". This one, along with "Conspiracy" and "Abigail" are his strongest in the catalog.

Great Informative Video Matt, was not aware of KK doing any guitar work on any KD albums, did pick up all these myself, Them is probably my fave, do wish they came with posters like most MB releases, Take Care Matt

The Eye is my favorite. Man, they REALLY should make that into a movie. I saw him 2019 live and it was awesome. The only time I seen before was Conspiracy tour in 1989 which was almost 30 years to the day. I remember the theater had those album sized pictures of Conspiracy all over on the walls. Why didn't I rip one off, there were hundreds?

Conspiracy is my favorite too, the guitar work is phenomenal. My original press of Conspiracy has a skip on “A Visit From The Dead” so I would like to pickup up a copy of the reissue. First I want to pick up a copy of MF - Nuns Have No Fun since that’s the one album of all these reissues that I don’t own a copy of. While I’m at it I might as well get another copy of Mellissa since my copy does not have the OIS. Funny story, my copy of Don’t Break The Oath didn’t have the OIS either. Years later I buy a copy of Melissa off eBay. The record arrives and I take it out to inspect and something doesn’t seem right with the inner sleeve. I realize it’s a copy of the inner from DBTO. I was bummed not to have a complete copy, but so happy to complete my copy of DBTO in such a random way.

Abigail released June 15, 1987.... too bad they did not wait 3 more weeks... for a release date of July 7th... that would have been so perfect.
