Yamaha has added a new version of it's Tenere 700 adventure motorcycle, the World Raid edition. It is more offroad oriented than the standard Tenere 700, a lot of quality of life improvements have been made, but should Yamaha have gone in the other direction with this one.

I "Stick around" not because I'm particularly interested in the Yamaha Tenere but because you are the most interesting and fun bike YouTuber I've found! Well Dave to be truthful! 👍🏼

I find the comfort of the T7 fine on the road and the Lack of TC is not an issue, I never felt the need for it on or off road so I never understand why people have such a problem with lack of electronics, same goes for the lack of TFT screen, all you need to know is your speed, the rest of the info is irrelevant.

11.600€ ?? You made my day man !! It even seems a bit hard to believe for me, someone else said it will be 12.600
I would pay the 1.600 extra all day long, i like absolutely everything that they've added, the display now wont make the bike look from 2012 anymore, the longer fuel range its well welcomed, same as the ground clearance and suspension travel
Im not sure yet what the steering thing does but sounds like something nice to have
But maybe the most important thing, the looks man !! When i first saw the normal T7 i was like: this is the perfect bike except one thing, i wish it looked more like the xt660z, because the T7 its a tall bike ( thing that i love about it ) but looks small, and i hate that
But now the world raid with the flat profile from the side looks much better for my taste, definitely going to buy it !

Excellent review, as we’ve all come to expect. I’m impressed with Yamaha’s “swing for the fence” attitude. The T-7 is an impressive bike to start with, this model will piss off a lot of previous owners. Gotta say it again, how refreshing it is that this channel always gives the US equivalent of measurements. Shows respect for your audience. 👍🏼 😎 🇺🇸 🌎

I'd want tubeless wheels, and I agree about giving more to the Road side of riding.

Agree. Most off road riders love T7 because of “less” techy things and good value….and this is opposite. Better road version would’ve been better for different crowds.

Sounds like they looked at the old KTM 990 and thought we can do that

I don't know much about the T-7 but what did catch my attention was the new mic and the arm holding it ! I used to watch the cables hanging in the right side background to see if they would move, now they are barely visible. I'm glad you mentioned you were still working on the South Africa video because I thought I might have missed the final. I'm glad Dave is safe.

Excellent upgrades. It’s hard to go off road if you can’t first get to the off road; those tanks will be useful! And who doesn’t love a good TFT display?

I was hoping 1 thing on the new T7 working for a low center of gravity fuel range was good no need to increase! no need for the electronics that was why people bought this bike... a perfect T7 would be same as the old one with a big improvement to lower the fuel tank as much as possible. that's it.... if some more experienced riders want they can always upgrade suspensions later

Where is the traction On a more expensive $25, 000 adventure bike. Don't steal the affordable midweight adventure bike from us by demanding features it doesn't need!!!! That's how we ended up with a $20, 000 Africa twin.

I can't believe you forgot Dave!! 🤣

It would be cool to get the upgraded suspension on the standard bike.

DEFINATLY THE RIGHT WAY TO GO. A BIT TOO HEAVY FOR SERIOUS OFF ROAD RIDING, BUT THE REST IS PERFECT.

Unfortunately this bike won’t make it to the USA anytime soon.
