I remember some young guy I met in the '70s and he unexpectedly said, with mournful beagle eyes: "Honey, it's all downhill for a gay man after 30." I am your age, Neil, and i wouldn't have missed my forties, fifties, and sixties for anything! As with most of your albums I am flipping all over as to which cuts I love most on "Nonetheless".. "Feel" has mesmerizing chord progressions, "Bullet for Narcissus" takes me back to my house music nights on the dance floor, and I too am looking for "My New Bohemia", but it's "Why Am I Dancing?" that is most magical and hits me right where I live. There are many things I could thank you for as your albums helped get me through the AIDS nightmare, but what I am most thankful for is that neither you nor Chris became music industry clichés nor did you glamorize drug use. No being "At Rock Bottom" for you two! That too is part of your legacy, so dance on! BRAVISSIMO!!

I remember when I first bought my first PSB CD which was packaged in a rather long rectangular box in 1987. It was for the album Actually as I borrowed my sibling's cassette of Please. I remember writing Neil age 33 (along with Chris 27). Although I met Neil (and Chris) only 4 times and listened to his voice for 37-plus years I hold him with the highest regard. Same with Mr. Lowe. They made the world a much more interesting place to live in.
